Marketing Strategist, Account Management

At Illumine8, we help mid-sized businesses grow their brand and revenue, and help create a cohesive strategy to improve inbound marketing.

Illumine8 is looking for an account manager with a growth mindset to establish and maintain client relationships, manage and lead projects from start to finish, and use data to inform all decisions.

The position will guide the conversion of visitors into customers through digital marketing and automation services within HubSpot's marketing CRM.


  • Build and manage digital content and campaign development, including identifying effective messaging, value proposition, channels, and calls to action
  • Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing process utilizing HubSpot workflows
  • Have an understanding of buyer personas
  • Represent Illumine8 as the liaison for client and internal team members
  • Create monthly metrics including performance against KPIs and recommendations for improvement
  • Analyze and interpret what behaviors and patterns make customers successful
  • Develop strategic marketing plans to be reviewed during a monthly meeting
  • Create, manage, and execute multi-channel marketing by leveraging lead-generating SEO content (website pages, landing pages, blogs, email, social, ads) and automation
  • Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through analytics
  • Writing project and creative briefs
  • Managing monthly client budgets and billing


  • 5 years in marketing communications, 2-3 years previous agency or account/client services experience
  • Articulate and well accustomed to a client-facing role representing an agency or consultancy
  • Ability to complete at least 10 different daily tasks on time and within budgeted hours
  • Proficiency in HubSpot's CRM marketing software
  • Proficient in using Google Business Suite: Sheets, Docs, and Slides
  • Experience with project management tools: Teamwork and Teamwork Chat
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable with video conferencing and screen sharing tools: Google Meet, Zoom, GoToMeeting
  • Currently 100% remote
  • Working with Illumine8 management to develop strategic marketing plans and lead monthly meetings
  • Growing marketing-qualified leads by developing online calls-to-action
  • Collaborating with creative services to deliver lead-generating SEO content
  • Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through analytics to turn leads into customers
  • Writing project and creative briefs
  • Managing client budgets and billing
