The Process

The Illumine8 team conducted in-depth discovery sessions with the IKO management team and developed a set of customer personas based on IKO’s input and customer and lead data. The customer personas became the foundation for the content development strategy. Email and blog topics were tailored to different target audiences to maximize engagement levels.

Communication frequency and type were consistent but not disruptive to customers and prospects. IKO provided feedback and granted final approval before the Illumine8 team launched content distribution and marketing automation processes.

Results

The collaboration resulted in a 202% increase in lead generation. In addition, the content campaign yielded a 138% increase in web traffic, represented by a significant jump from 11,591 visits in 2015 to 16,003 in 2016. Moreover, the email newsletter initiative enjoyed a 42.8% open rate and a strong click through rate of 14.35%.
